ALPHA'S TREE POLICY
REQUEST FOR REMOVAL

The intent of this policy is to restrict homeowners from clear-cutting their lots and thereby negatively impacting the forested nature of our Association. Trees that are outside of the home building area and over 10" in diameter must be approved for removal by the Architectural Review Committee.

Homeowners are asked to complete the following Tree Removal Request to ensure CC&R compliance:

• Criteria for tree removal:
• ______Tree(s) is within 15' of building/septic site
• ______Tree(s) is/are: ______diseased______dead______hazard
• ______Tree(s) creating fire danger (within 10' of other healthy trees).
• ______Trees clearly marked and lot boundaries clearly marked through location and staking of pins when tree(s) located near (within 6') of property line.
• ______Landscaping plan which still leaves minimum of 8 trees over 12"/third acre; 6 -12" trees/quarter acre; 12-12" trees/half acre, etc.(24 trees per acre baseline)
• ______Tree(s) on property line have neighbor's agreement to remove.
• ______Cautionary note: Use of unlicensed uninsured workers for tree removal leaves homeowner liable for any resulting damages.
