Well it is time again to clean our lots, after all the snow and wind damage to trees this winter. There will be more cleaning this year than usual. Please remember the 100 foot clearance rule (copies of the regulations are included with this newsletter). Be fire safe and call for burn day information at 209-754-6600.
Our annual clean up of the common area and pool will be on May 17th, and again on May 24th. Since the weather tends to be unsettled in May the dates are subject to change. We hope to open the pool by the first of June. Please call Alice 209-728-3202 or e-mail me at (leroyt@goldrush.com) if you can help for a few hours on the clean up. Remember it is your common area and pool and we need your help to make it as nice as it can be. Gaylor Blackburn will again be maintaining our pool and Jason Stills will be returning as pool supervisor.

For people in our community who need assistance, Calaveras Works and Human Services Agency has office hours every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. at the Arnold Medical Clinic in the Meadowmont shopping center. People can drop off verifications or forms and correspondence for their respective staff members. The agency can help with medical general assistance, food stamps, cash aid, and in home support services. They can arrange meetings with veteran’s officers, family support members, and welfare to work staff members. They can give bus passes also. Working with the medical clinic they can verify eligibility to Medi-Cal or CMSP so they can see a doctor. People can drop in or call 209 754-7588 to make an appointment.
