Board Meeting October 15, 2005

The meeting was called to order at 10:05 am by President Alice Taylor. A quorum was established. Board members present were President Alice Taylor, Secretary Eugene Bartee, Treasurer Jeff Lindevald; Directors Nancy Cockshott, Frank Samuelson, Michael Willemsen, Dee Willemsen, and Alternate Gaylord Blackburn. Also present were Lee Taylor (lot xx), Linda Blythe (lot 98). Vice-President: Geri Hill; Directors: Jan Turner and Pat Tarpley; and Administrative Assistant: Sera James were excused.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved, Frank Samuelson motioned and Jeff Lindevald seconded. So moved.

Correspondence: A few phone calls regarding property sale.

Treasurer’s Report: None available, updated information was received by Administrative Assistant but was not available for viewing due to computer (program incompatibility?) glitch.

Old Business: Pool Coating: Mike needs one more day of good weather to complete. The cost is running higher than expected due to fiberglass on the bottom of the pool needing more repairs than expected.

New Business: Christmas Party will be held on December 15, 2005 at the Sweet Basil Café. Dee Willemsen and Nancy Cockshott will make plans/arrangements.

Frank Samuelson and Mike Willemsen to obtain a safe deposit box in which to place all important papers of the ALPHA association. Passed 8 yea/0 nay.

Open Forum: EPPOC Meeting reported on and discussion was made about the new State Water Quality rules, the Bear Valley Project (planned by the new owners), and Cedar Ridge (gated community) near the old Boy Scout camp.

Assets & Liabilities Report: There are no pending litigations and the assessments are adequate. No increases are being contemplated.

Meeting was adjourned 11:00. Next meeting will be held on November 12, at 10:00 at Arnold Public Library.
