ALPHA Minutes of May 3, 2008

Members in Attendance: Carter Bell, Nancy Cockshott, Mike Nelson, Gaylord Blackburn, Alice Taylor, Susan Tarpley, and guest Pat Tarpley, Mike Willemsen, Frank Samuelson

Approval of Minutes: Mike moved and Susan seconded approval of the minutes. The minutes were unanimously approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Cora reviewed the treasurer’s report. Mike moved and Susan’s second that the Treasurer’s report be approved. The report was unanimously approved.

New Business: Board Member Nomination: Alice nominated Mark Nelson to the board, Susan seconded, and the motion was unanimously approved.

Pool lot clearing: Kevin and the Sequoia Woods crew will clear the lot around the pool, for a bid of between $500 and $600 dollars. Susan moved and Carter seconded, and the motion was unanimously approved

Painting the pool: Mark will contact Garmon painting to paint the pool. We will change the colors to forest green and a warm beige.

Old Business: Lot #10: We will write Ron Smith another letter requesting the names of his tenants, and requesting that the old refrigerator and junk cars be moved from the property. We will request that he respond within 15 days, or we will fine him $100 per offense.

VIP: We are only concerned with improved lots. Unimproved lots will be cited by CDF. Carter and Cora will do Laurel Circle, Maple and Alder. Mike and Frank will do Lilac, Ponderosa, and Summit View. We will write lot 54 a letter regarding their downed tree. Chapel in the Pines “Do Wooders” will take wood away.

May 17th and 24th are our clean-up days.
